Masterpiece Essay #1

Sustainability is, by definition, the quality of not being harmful to the environment or depleting natural resources.

Renewable Energy on Modern Marvels - History Channel

You can go to this URL to watch the video:

I recommend it because it goes over the different types of resources we could use without harming the environment.

Some Ideas Working for this Weekend's Essay

I have a few ideas. One of the topics is looking up the background behind your choice of career. Another is some kind of topic where we research our own topic off topic od what we are going to so in the future. A third would be to choose a theme that we learned throughout our academic career and try to find some examples in the real world.

The Choice

1. A choice refers to the fact that you can either make a really beneficial decision or one that can really damage you.
2. It is sometimes a forced decision that is made because of family economic troubles and you feel the need to help out, but you find the easy "route" when in reality it is a really windy rollercoaster ride.
3. The author uses the word "poison" in the first line because he refers to his daughter`s meedications for chemotherapy as flavorless and that it kills non malignant cells.
4. His daughter wants to play with some toys meant for kids 8 years and older because in her head she believes she is old enough for that and I blame the medicine that the doctor prescribed.
5. If I might not live to my 30`s, I would at least finish my studies and work for a few, and retire with whatever money I have.
6.
7. Suffering isn`t a necessary condition of life because society has placed that feeling upon us with problems such as economics, work, and government.
8. The author`s way of writing the essay.

Peer Blog Review

http://mlunarhsenglitcomp.blogspot.com/ waa one of the blogs that caught my eye.  The blog was not only colorful but was also informative and easy on the eyes. She had her assignments from both classes and were very well written

http://sierralynramirez.tumblr.com/ has a very clean interface. She has all her work in check and is free of clutter. And for not being in Blogger, I give her props.

http://rickcortez805.blogspot.com/ has a clean interface also and show the Californiano coasts during sunsets as his background. Content is easy to read and also free of clutter.

http://brucoborhs14exposcomp.blogspot.com/ has very clean interface. It is simple to use and is also easy to read. I commented on his post earlier today and suggested to add one of his photos as his background.

renewable energy vocabulary #2

1. Renewable energy-energy produced by nature with mechanical systems to produce electricity for human usage. Examples are wind, solar, geothermal,  waves, rain, and tides.

Technology Has Changed My Life and Academic Career

My experience with technology has been very good. New technology has always excited me because I would want to know what new feature is on our mobile devices,  such as Apple's fingerprint detector on the main button. So far I haven't had a problem trying to create work for school assignments or just hanging out on my laptop or tablet or smartphone. The reality had sank in when I realized that technology can be used inside the classroom, not just in the offices. Once creating this blog, the possibilities are endless and can help you create your own profile on the world wide web. Right now I am up to 1,070 to 1,080 pageviews so far. My website has been seen all around the world. So having that strong profile on the Internet will truly help me stand out for something such as a job interview or a college entrance assignment.

Ready for Launch... 3, 2, 1,... Blast Off !!!

My passion is to learn about renewable energy and environmental engineering,  and maybe getting into the work force of installing solar, wind, geothermal, and hydroelectric power systems. To accomplish this, I have started up a blog about renewable energy, environmentally sustainable, and being green in general. I want to " feel the awesomeness " by June, so to accomplish this feeling, my work will have to be very well written and in very good condition that would deserve an A+. Impressing others would be a good feeling also by declaring that I have two blogs and that I have my progress shown for.everyone to see. The second blog.I have going on is a reality because I am making it is really good work. The network would be peers from class, the public, and experts from college professors and other highly regarded leaders.

Spring Literature Analysis #1

ROBINSON CRUSOE BY DANIEL DEFOE

This timeless tale is written in the 1700s, where a shipmate is stranded on a deserted island. luckily, he makes it out alive and refugees himself in a cave he fortifies for about a year and a half. he self sustains himself by planting his own crops and creating his own supplies out of what the land provided to him. In his other two adventures out in the ocean, Robinson Crusoe first gets shipwrecked and decides to go home to London.  The second time he gets enslaved by a Moor, escapes and becomes a plant owner himself. This third time, Robinson was transporting slaves when he really hits all time low. He gets shipwrecked somewhere in the Caribbean Sea,  but the rest of his crew is "perished". This last time this fateful event occured is where my edition of the classic adventure begins. He arrives on the deserted island and the first thing that he wonders about is where is he going to get fresh drinking water, and then through the story he tells us avout his adventure domesticating animals and growing crops. Towards the end of the book, he returns home and takes a companion he had found on the island with him. Once returning home, he recieves notice that he is rich and that his parents have passed on. He marries and has 3 children.

In my opinion, the theme of the novel is to not let a tragic event bring you down. You should use that lesson as a reflection and an advantage to yourself because, for example, he is on the island's shore the first day he arrives. Robinson Crusoe doesn't start weeping about how he is going to survive. An intuition came over him and he started to rewrite his life on the island, by fending for himself. Another theme present in the novel is how he has control of the island now for himself. He grows crops such as corn, he domesticates the wild goats for meat and dairy products, and he even builds the outer part of a house. This could also tie in with the theme of having necessities, such as having food, water to drink and bathe, and a well built shelter. Self awareness is very present in this novel because Crusoe writes about his adventures in a journal and is also keeping track of how many days he has been on the island, not necessarily keeping a calendar with all 12 months in it.
