The things I really want to accomplish this year are to graduate with maybe honors and a scholarship to a college in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area. Also to take the ACT and SAT, possibly twice, to see where I get the highest score.

The way that I see the story is that failure leads to success, so I do agree on his idea that "learning a thousand ways" leads to the invention of something great. We should learn from that and put our nation back on top. The moral of the story is that we shouldn't give up, always practice, and practice.

I am very good at cleaning my room because sometimes it looks as if it is a disaster zone. You first start by organizing your closet ( I.e. fixing your shoes to be in order, straighten out your clothes, and refolding them if necessary). Then you take off the mattress off the bed to be able to vaccum under the mattress. After you really vacuum hard under the bed so it is clean. Finally, you put your mattress back on the frame and continue dusting and sweeping/vacuuming until you see your room take shape. Have fun!

One thing in my life still seems very huge to tackle, and that thing is that if I will make it to college with the classes that I have now. It does matter because I may not have a very good job and a bright future. The diction strengthens its impact because it has you look at a certain thing in another perspective, especially when a country is in turmoil. We should be using an image with an expletive in it because it shows how comfortable we are in expressing our thoughts and/or feelings.

What I learned last week is that Dr. Preston`s class is not like the traditional English classes. He uses the modern technology to teach us what he has planned out. Also that he will push your mind to think beyond its comfort zone, and see your true potential of the thought process. His way of teaching, and how you think will change the way you think in other classes and in the professional life in general.

"Paying attention" and "making a decision" are almost intertwined because you have to look at your surroundings to make a choice. Depending on a child`s age , it should be just one or the other.

To be a hero means that you risk your life to save another`s form drowning or dying. the heroes are always depicted as being very innocent and young in movies  and literature.These portrayals are often different from classic and classic and ancient ideas of heroes because the hero way back when were considered as gods and goddesses. Now they save the world, the damsel in distress,and have time left over to clean up for dinner. But the true heroes are our troops overseas such as the Marines, and the Navy Seal Team Six.

It is as if Dr. Preston was reading my mind like some sort of dream catcher because that is what I dreamt of last night. I would also be crazy and not want this kind of a thing to happen. If a dog in the neighborhood is talking to you and only you, it would be an unnatural thing and more of a paranormal thing. And I would secretly record him. First I would start freaking out. Then I would start a relation with the dog. Finally I would alert the authorities.

To prepare for any natural disaster, such as earthquakes and supertornadoes, I would move into the wilderness and start from scratch by planting food crops and engineering some kind of way to get fresh water and electricity to be able to get "off the grid" completely. Before the disaster hits, I should actually stock up on drinking water and canned food, grow maybe a few chickens and two cows so I don`t get used to the supermarket food. Because the supermarket will already be looted, I also plan to buy a few guns and extra ammunition for personal protection and for the family.

I sat that Early Outs are a bad idea because we need the extra time to finish the chapters and quizzes / tests. Also so the teachers have more time to explain and teach the students enough so they understand the topic well. I would use the extra time for updating my blog, putting up all the posts, somehow.

My big question for now comes from about two weeks ago. It relates to what we are learning because we are the future and this future is full of obese people, particularly in Mexico and the U.S. I could tweak the questions to be more generalized to the overall year long course.

"Secret ingredients" on a food label is never a good thing. Those ingredients are just sugars, fats, salts, and chemicals that help you go back and grab another bag of food at the local fast food joint. It is also just a cynical plot to eat cheaply manufactured nastiness and indulge ourselves in those sweet carbs, sugars, and salts. And we still do based on all those facts.

I would rather work hard to improve and succeed/achieve my goals because staying the way I am won`t help me move forward in life economically. Working hard gets you very far in life in all aspects.

Something I would miss most if it were all gone would be my parents and little brothers we have been through alot together and my little brothers would be way too young to have passed away.
