I define the success for myself by seeing myself having a good job and a solid financial foundation where to rely on. I believe I truly am an entrepreneur because I am putting myself out there in the cyberworld where everybody sees everybody else.
The skill set of the entrepreneurs that we learned about this week are way more far fetched than what anyone in our class is doing. They live and breathe Silicon Valley. Those entrepreneurs, 80/20 ratio, have the financial backing of family members who have worked for Google or Microsoft. I am pretty sure that also somebody from East Los Angeles can create an application straight from their device. You also need to have that drive and passion that will get you to your goal.
The thing I am creating right now is a world where we use pure, clean energy derived from nature's power. My goal is to create a small wind turbine prototype. The engineers who are going into apps instead of the backbone of technology, I think they are in both ways behind me and in front of me in terms of leadership. Behind me because they are not doing anything good with their careers. It is almost as if they spent thousands of dollars in college unnecessarily. On the other hand they are in front of me because they are working on some of the coolest and best apps for the iOS and Android devices.
